Acceptable use

Keep the shared service usable.

Use the hosted Shakel preview in ways that are lawful, safe, and fair to everyone sharing its capacity.

Current policy Effective for the current release · Updated 29 July 2026

Do not misuse the service

Do not use the hosted site, studio, or CDN to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, or facilitate abuse;
  • overload the service, bypass limits, or run abusive automation;
  • probe, disrupt, evade, or interfere with the service or other users;
  • impersonate Shakel, misrepresent affiliation, or imply endorsement; or
  • use recipes, labels, links, or rendered files to harass, deceive, or cause harm.

Linking and caching

Normal linking, embedding, downloading, and caching of CDN representations is welcome within the applicable licenses and reasonable service limits. High-volume or reliability-critical use should be self-hosted.

Scope and enforcement

The operator may rate-limit or block traffic that threatens the hosted preview. This policy governs only the official hosted service. Forks and self-hosted deployments have their own operators and must publish rules that fit their service.
